Positive: An exceptional value! Our room was quiet, comfortable (with a fully working AC), heated shower, and a great outdoor patio area (great for reading, doing work, relaxing, etc). Darwin greeted us when we arrived; he was a great host! One of our favorite accommodations during our month abroad.

Negative: The location was a 10+ min walk away from the city center, but it didn’t bother us (but might bother some).

Summary: A very comfortable stay at a very comfortable price too!

Positive: Perfect location in between the harbor and the town center, very quiet at night and spotless clean. The family who owns the guesthouse is very nice. Nice terrace where you can enjoy free tea/coffee in the morning. They also serve breakfast for 150 pesos from 6am which is really good if you need to catch a ferry/an early boat tour. Locals were staying there too which I always take as a good sign!

Negative: The water didn’t drain very well in the bathroom so you were always stepping in water

Positive: The location is very convenient as it's far from the chaos but close enough to go by walk to the main area where all the restaurants and bars are. Darwin is an amazing host. He organised our tours impeccably and gave us good suggestions about what to do. He's always ready to help with anything you might need. You can rent a snorkel and scooter here, too. The double room is spacious, the shower can be hot too, the bed is very comfortable and the WiFi works very well. There's a balcony outside which is very lovely to relax after a day visiting the surroundings. 100% recommended!
